WELCOME HOME TO THE 39th IBCT
We have been invited to join with the families and friends of members of the 39th IBCT as they celebrate their homecoming from their latest deployment in Iraq.
Approximately 1,000 Arkansas Soldiers will be honored for their service in Iraq at Freedom Salute Ceremonies to be held this weekend in North Little Rock, Fort Smith and Russellville, as follows:
Freedom Salute #1:
Location: Camp Robinson, Davis Auditorium, North Little Rock, AR.
Staging: Saturday, 25 Apr 2009, 1415 hrs, Main Gate on Military Drive; ceremony begins promptly at 1515 hours. We will have an escort onto the post.
Special Instructions: As this ceremony will be taking place on a military installation, if you are riding a motorcycle, you must be wearing the following: DOT approved helmet, eye protection, full-finger gloves, long-sleeved jacket, long pants and boots that cover the ankles.

Freedom Salute #2:
Location: Fort Smith Convention Center, Arkansas Best Center for the Performing Arts, 55 S. 7th Street, Fort Smith, AR.
Staging: Sunday, 26 Apr 2009, 1230 hrs, in the parking lot at 7th and Wheeler, one block south of main entrance to National Cemetery; ceremony begins promptly at 1300 hrs.

Freedom Salute #3:
Location: Tucker Coliseum, 1604 Coliseum Drive, Arkansas Tech Campus, Russellville, AR.
Staging: Sunday, 26 Apr 2009, 1430 hrs, in the parking lot outside the Coliseum; ceremony begins promptly at 1500 hrs.
