WELCOME HOME TO THE 39th IBCT 
  
We have been invited by Maj. Gen. William D. Wofford, Arkansas Adjutant General, to join with the family and friends of members of the 39th IBCT as they celebrate their homecoming from their second deployment in Iraq.   
  
Approximately 750 Arkansas Soldiers will be honored for their service in Iraq at Freedom Salute Ceremonies to be held this weekend in Little Rock, North Little Rock and Arkadelphia, as follows: 
  
Freedom Salute #1: 
  
Location:  Brig. Gen. Earl T. Ricks Readiness Center, 4700 West 8th Street (behind Ray Winder Field), Little Rock, AR. 
  
Staging:  Saturday, 4 Apr 2009, 1200 hrs, in the Center parking lot; ceremony begins promptly at 1300 hrs. 
  
RC for this stage:  Jeff "Hulk" Hulsizer, hulk at patriotguard.org, 501-912-9024. 
  
Freedom Salute #2: 
  
Location:  Arkansas Hall, 1118 Henderson Street, on the campus of Henderson State University, Arkadelphia, AR. 
  
Staging:  Saturday, 4 Apr 2009, 1430 hrs, in the Hall parking lot; ceremony begins promptly at 1530 hrs. 
  
RC for this stage:  Ron Shaw, jr2lane at aol.com, 501-282-6343. 
  
Freedom Salute #3: 
  
Location:  Camp Robinson, Davis Auditorium, North Little Rock, AR. 
  
Staging:  Sunday, 5 Apr 2009, 1400 hrs, in the parking lot outside the Main Gate on Military Drive; ceremony begins promptly at 1500 hours.  We will have an escort onto the post. 
  
Special Instructions:  As this ceremony will be taking place on a military installation, if you are riding a motorcycle, you must be wearing the following:  DOT approved helmet, eye protection, full-finger gloves, long-sleeved jacket, long pants and boots that cover the ankles.
