Ladies and Gentlemen,

 

The e-mail below is about a situation that is a non-PGR event but a
worthwhile cause that our members may be interested in participating in.

George,

 

Debbie Horton has been contacted by Chief Kelsey about a family with a KIA
needing some assistance this Christmas. Debbie contacted me since I had done
several fund raisers and I in turn contacted Chief Kelsey.

 

The family has requested two items for the 16 yr. old girl and 11 yr. old
boy, a used computer and a Cassio Keyboard. I discussed the used computer
with the Chief and the possible problems that might arise due to failure and
also some of the information and data that would remain on the hard drive
even after it was cleaned.

 

I offered and have purchased a new HP computer, HP flat screen moitor and HP
printer ($435.00). We plan to make the presentation after the first of
December probably the 6th or 13th.

 

I think the PGR needs to be involved for the presentation as a mission, so
if you will make news of the upcoming event available to the members I will
provide you additional information as soon as it has been set up.

I would like to be able to secure the Keyboard and have some cash to present
to the family. So far I have only received $40.00. 

 

We can do this and make a family real happy and make our own Christmas
