Ladies and Gentlemen,

 

Some of you may remember our mission for Specialist Dustin Jackson.  There
will be a silent auction on November 7, 2008, in his honor to benefit
Arlington Life Shelter, a charity that Dustin supported.  Details are below.

Dear Sir or Madam,

 

The Hilton Arlington Hotel is preparing for a very special Silent Auction
Event to honor the life, patriotism and dedication of Specialist Dustin
Jackson.  Dustin, a resident of Arlington, Texas and a graduate of Lamar
High School, courageously gave his life on March 12, 2008 while on duty with
the United States Army in Iraq, serving our country and defending our
freedom.

 

Dustin, an incredibly caring and giving person, had a passionate desire to
support and protect his fellow soldiers and said that "gave him the courage
to do what I have to do."  Prior to his deployment to Iraq, he requested to
family and friends that if, for any reason he did not return, donations be
made in his name to the Arlington Life Shelter, who Dustin often supported
while growing up in Arlington.  The Arlington Life Shelter is a valuable
non-profit organization in our city that supports the less fortunate by
offering shelter, food, clothing, training and most importantly, guidance
and strength to help others get their lives back on track.

celebrate his life, to honor his charity of choice and to give back to our
community is our way of showing the appreciation and gratitude he so
deserves.  On behalf of the Hilton Arlington Hotel and the United States
Army we are proud to honor this selfless soldier and his family and hope
that your organization will participate in supporting this fundraising event
and make it most successful in Dustin's memory.
