Ladies and Gentlemen,

 

After speaking with Texas HOTH Coordinator Debbie Horton, the information
below is being provided for your information.  This is not a PGR mission but
placed here so that anyone wishing to participate has the information they
need.  The text and details are from "Harley Charlie."

The attached flyer tells the story of Ayden Torres.  His step daddy, Chris,
is an Army Reservist (SpecOps) who has served in Iraq at least once (perhaps
twice...I'm not sure).  It would be a great show of patriotic support if
there were too many folks from all over (not just PGR) showing up Saturday
to help and, at present, we expect 50-75 to show.  Obviously, those numbers
are fluid and can change in either direction.

The weather Saturday is supposed to be pretty nice - mostly sunny, mid 70s,

 

Feel free to call me at 682-203-1164 with any questions.  And please forgive
the late notice on this.  This event was firmed up only yesterday, and the
idea to get PGR involved just materialized in my mush-filled skull this
evening.

PAVELKA BARN RAISING

 

Purpose:  To aid a family struggling with their 4 year old's liver cancer, 

                an impending liver transplant for Ayden,

                the successful birth of daughter Cadence's after a high-risk
pregnancy

                and to give back to a man who has served his country &
continues to

 

What is needed: VOLUNTEERS & a possible assist with food for the workers

                          (anyone have a basketball goal for big brother
Caleb?)

                          work crews will from other areas are scheduled

 

Work being done:  Construction of a 2 horse barn with tack room, 

                             a playhouse for the kids  

                             completion of the property fencing

 

When: THIS Saturday, the 20th, beginning at 7AM---come & go/lunch will be
provided

 

Where: Chris & Renee Pavelka's in Decatur

 

Directions: Head north on 287 

                  Take a right on CR 2422

                  Upon entering Decatur, you'll see a Shamrock gas station
on your left---take a right turn

                  2-3 miles down, make a left on CR 749

                  3rd house on the left
