Subject: Update:Weekend to honor our Military in Southlake Texas  on 
September 11th, 12th and 13th





Please pass the word to everyone...  





Here is information on the upcoming Military Event  with Gary Sinise 
entertaining the troops in Southlake , Texas on September  13th.  Events start 
September 11th, then into 2 full days of events.

    *   Heroes Parade is September 11th in Town Square in Southlake  starting 
at 6pm.  There will be many wounded Service Members  there who have flown in 
from across the country to attend. The  Southlake Students turned their own 
Homecoming Parade into a Heroes  Parade on their own.  Dave Hall with his 
Liberty Bell will be  there along with Bag Pipes playing in the parade from the 
Naval Air  Station Joint Reserve Base in Ft. Worth.  
    *   Friday there will be a lot going on.  Central Market we will  have 2 
Apache Helicopters on Static Display along with photos of the  war on terror 
displayed outside along with entertainment and  food.  Assemblies at the 2 High 
Schools with Veteran speakers ,  Lt. General from Southlake and San Antonio, 
Medal Of Honor Recipient ,  folding of the flag and 3 High School Students 
performing the Boogie  Woogie Bugle Boy from Company B  

    *   Friday night, the Southlake Football team will be wearing a  sticker 
on their helmets to honor our and  play football for our  Military.  They will 
also run out on the field with flags in  their hands.  The School is making 
Tshirts to sell and planning  on the entire student body wearing these 
patriotic T-shirts for the  entire game.  We will have a 20 min program before the 
game about  our heroes who are at the game also.  There will be an Apache  
Helicopter on Static Display at the Stadium also along with a huge  tail gate part 
before hand.  This will possibly be covered by FOX  as it is like a Friday 
Night Lights Football Game.  The entire  city of Southlake is behind all efforts.
    *   Saturday will start the bike ride where we will have many wounded  
riding in the rally.  Started off with an Apache Helicopter and  then 2 on 
Static Display.  Tons of food. Businesses will have  adopted port-a potties and 
decorated them for a bike ride.  Bone  Daddys and Razoos are also sponsors and 
will have their girls out  waiving our teams on to the finish line.  
    *   That night will be the Gary Sinise Concert and we hope to have the  
entire stadium sold out .  Gary plays the base guitar and the  band will rock 
the stadium with all kinds of music.
